  5. To moderators: This is the (hopefully) correct release of the last
  6. Lazy-Scheme release with english documentation. It should replace the
  7. previous one i posted THIS morning and that is BUGGED up beyond recognition.
  8. Please note that i DID send a note to info-mac-request ! The archive should
  9. go in the language (lang) directory.

  11. Here is the text blurb to present Help (the lazy Scheme like language):

  13. Help  is  a  complete  and  efficient  Scheme-like  functionnal  lazy  Lisp
  14. interpreter. It works only on 68020  (or more) based  Macintoshs.  It has a
  15. 'friendly'  interface  (parenthesis  matcher,  auto-indent),  uses  a  full
  16. call-by-need semantics and includes  many  examples, including  a  symbolic
  17. compiler for the 680x0. Efficiency is good (fib 20 in 5.4" on a 68030/25Mhz
  18. emulated  Mac, 1.15"  compiled... but  compilation  is  impossible  for the
  19. vulgum pecus), bugs are  few, if any  (it has been intensively  used  by  a
  20. friend of mine),  and  lazyness is  fully  parametrable (you main turn Help
  21. into a strict Scheme-like language if you like). French AND English updated
  22. docs included in Word4 and plain text formats.
